Our promise

At Cosmoniq our readers come first. We publish honest, useful reviews of the gadgets people in the US actually buy — and we never trade coverage for money, favours or free units. Every recommendation is built on hands-on testing, clear criteria and full transparency.

How we test

  • Daily use first: Every device we review is used as a real daily driver — not just unboxed for a photo. Phones ride the train, laptops survive deadline week, earbuds sit through long calls.
  • Minimum time: We spend at least two weeks with a product before writing a verdict.
  • Standardised methods: Battery runs, charging meters, display checks and real-world benchmarks where relevant.
  • No cherry-picking: We report both the wins and the flaws, and we score against clear criteria, not marketing claims.

Independence & funding

We are funded through affiliate commissions (including the Amazon Associates Programme) and occasional advertising. This never influences our verdicts. Nobody at a brand sees a review before it publishes, we do not accept payment for positive coverage, and any sponsored or AI-assisted content is clearly disclosed. See our Disclaimer for the full affiliate policy.

AI-assisted content

Some research and drafting may be assisted by AI. Every article is fact-checked, tested and edited by a named member of our editorial team before publication, and our authors stand behind the final verdict. We never publish unverified or unedited automated output.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it — promptly and transparently. Spot an error? Tell us via the Contact page and we will investigate and update the article. Our published date and update information appear on every review.

Authors

Every review carries a named author with their own author page, so you can always see who wrote what and how to reach them. Read more about who we are on our About page.

Review scores

Our reviews use honest, plain-language verdicts alongside product scores based on the areas that matter most: performance, display, battery, build and value. A product's score reflects our testing, not its advertising budget.
